- If you are running Windows XP or Vista, you will now be presented with security certificate warnings when running the Launcher Repair Utility and the Installer. These can be safely ignored.
- The Rakghoul event was not able to be fixed before its conclusion on Tuesday. This week’s Bounty Contract Week was also broken. Both events will (hopefully) successfully return in January.
- nVidia is holding the Star Wars: The Old Republic “Build Your Alliance” contest.
- It appears that The Force Awakens has shattered all box office records for a movie’s opening weekend.

Dlots referred us to this Reddit thread discussing the new Star Game in development at EA subsidiary Visceral.

Sukai and his brother Mykre levelled from 1-65 using only the most basic of gear, as you can see in this video.
However, when told that it wasn’t without any gear, Sukai has taken on a near challenge: level a character which only has the starter items received when it was first created… and is now level 51 after three days!
